The importance of the verse "Al-Kursi"

It is reported that once, Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, guarding the collected zakat, caught a thief who said to him: “Let me go, and I will teach you such words that Allah will make useful for you!” Abu Hurairah asked, "What are these words?" He said: “When you go to bed, read “Ayat al-Kursi” from beginning to end, and a guardian from Allah will always be with you, and the shaitan will not be able to approach you until morning!” After that, Abu Hurayrah told the Prophet about this, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said: “He really told you the truth, despite the fact that he is a notorious liar!” After that, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, told Abu Hurairah that it was Satan himself in the form of a man (Al-Bukhari "Sahih" 2311).

Ubay ibn Ka'b said: “Once the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, asked me: “O Abu-l-Mundhir, do you know which verse from the Book of Allah is the greatest?” I said: This is the verse which says: Allah - there is no deity worthy of worship except Him, the Living, the Almighty ...” (ayat al-Kursi) After that, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, slapped me on the chest and said: “May you be happy in knowledge, O Abul-Munzir!” (Muslim Sahih 810).

“Allah (God, Lord). There is no god but Him, the eternally Living, Existing. Neither sleep nor slumber will overtake him. He owns everything in heaven and on earth. Who will intercede before Him, except by His will!? He knows what was and what will be. No one is able to comprehend even a particle of His knowledge, except by His will. Heaven and Earth are embraced by the course (Great Throne) of Him, and He does not bother to take care of them [About everything that is in our galactic system]. He is the Most High [by all characteristics above everything and everything], the Great [His greatness has no limits]!” (See, Holy Quran, Surah al-Baqarah, ayat 255 (2:255)).

Ayat "Al-Kursi" is a special verse of the Holy Quran, which has not only a deep meaning, but also the power of mystical influence. As the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, this is the greatest of the Qur'anic verses, because it contains evidence of monotheism, as well as the greatness and infinity of the qualities of the Almighty Creator. In this verse, in words accessible to human understanding, the Lord speaks to people about Himself and His incomparability with any objects and essences of the world He created. This verse indeed has a glorious and delightful meaning and deserves to be called the greatest of the Qur'anic verses. And if a person reads it, reflecting on its meaning and comprehending its meaning, then his heart is filled with conviction, knowledge and faith, thanks to which he protects himself from the evil machinations of Satan.

"Throne" ("al-kursi") is one of the greatest creations of the Creator. The Messenger of Allah said: “The seven heavens (Earth and heavens) in comparison with the foot of the “Throne” are like a ring thrown in the desert, and the superiority of [the] “Throne” over its foot is like the superiority of this desert over this ringlet. » no one is able to imagine in a worthy way, except Allah Almighty 2 . The above words of the verse "Al-Kursi" should not be interpreted in a literal sense. Allah cannot be limited by any space, does not need any “al-kursi” (throne, chair) or “al-‘arsh” (throne).

Ayat "Al-Kursi" in its meaning and significance is equal to one quarter of the entire Holy Quran. Ali 3, the successor of the Prophet Muhammad, spoke about the strength of his action: “I cannot understand those Muslims who, before going to bed, do not read the ayat “Al-Kursi”. If you knew how great this verse is, you would never neglect to read it, because it was given to your Messenger Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, from the treasures of al-‘Arsh. Ayat "Al-Kursi" was not given to any of the prophets before Muhammad (God bless them). And I never spend a night without reciting the verse of Al-Kursi three times [before going to bed].”

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever reads the ayat “Al-Kursi” after the prayer-prayer, he will be under the protection of Allah Almighty until the next prayer” 4. “To the one who reads the verse “Al-Kursi” after the prayer-prayer, [if he dies] nothing will prevent him from entering Paradise” 5.

The name of the verse "Al-Kursi" is sometimes erroneously written as "Ayatul Kursi". The Qur'an consists of 114 parts called suras. Surahs are made up of verses. In Surah Baqqara, verse 255 is called Al-Kursi. Hence the name - ayat "Al-Kursi". Not all verses in the Qur'an have a title.

Several semantic translations: "I swear by the time interval that begins after the sun has moved from its zenith and continues until sunset"; "I swear by the afternoon prayer."

That is, the slanderers plunged into "al-khutoma" will lose all hope of liberation, the gates of Hell will be tightly closed before them.

The Qur'anic surah tells of a historical event that took place in the year of the birth of the last messenger of the Lord Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and became a sign for people who understand.

By this time, the ancient temple of Monotheism Kaaba, restored by the prophet Abraham (see: Holy Koran, 22:26, 29), was again turned by the Arabs into main temple his pagan pantheon. Mecca became the center of paganism, attracting pilgrims from all over the Arab East. This caused discontent of the rulers of neighboring states. Then the ruler of Yemen Abraha, in order to attract pilgrims, built a new temple, striking in its luxury and beauty. But the religious building could not become a center of pilgrimage for nomads, who still recognized only Mecca as such.

Once, a certain Bedouin-pagan, demonstrating his disrespect for the Yemeni temple, defiled it. Upon learning of this, Abraha vowed to wipe the Kaaba off the face of the earth.

In the army equipped by him there were eight (according to other sources - twelve) elephants, which were supposed to destroy the Kaaba.

Approaching Mecca, the army of Abraha set up a camp for rest. Camels grazing in the vicinity immediately became the prey of the Yemenis. Among them were two hundred camels belonging to one of the most respected people of Mecca, ‘Abdul-Muttalib (the grandfather of the future Prophet).

In the meantime, Abraha ordered that the most respected Meccan be brought to him. The inhabitants pointed to ‘Abdul-Muttalib, who went to negotiate with Abraha. The dignity and nobility of ‘Abdul-Muttalib immediately inspired the ruler of Yemen with respect for him, and he invited the Meccan to sit next to him. "Do you have any request for me?" Abraha asked. “Yes,” said ‘Abdul-Muttalib. “I want to ask you to return my camels, which were taken away by your soldiers.” Abraha was surprised: “Seeing your noble face and courage, I sat down next to you. But when I heard you, I realized that you are a cowardly and selfish person. While I came with the intention of razing your shrine from the face of the earth, are you asking for some camels?!” “But I am only the owner of my camels, and the Lord Himself is the owner of the temple, He will save it ...” was the answer. Taking his herd, ‘Abdul-Muttalib returned to the city, abandoned by the inhabitants, who were unable to resist the huge army. Together with the people accompanying him, ‘Abdul-Muttalib prayed for a long time at the threshold of the Kaaba, offering a prayer for the salvation and preservation of the Lord’s temple, after which they left Mecca.

When Abraha's troops tried to storm the city, a miraculous sign happened: a flock of birds appeared and threw stones from burnt clay at the army. Abraha's army was destroyed. Defenseless Mecca and Kaaba were saved, for according to the plan of the Lord, a different fate was destined for them.

This story is a clear sign for those who have reason.

See, for example: Ibn Kasir I. Tafsir al-kur'an al-'azim. T. 4. S. 584, 585.

The Lord is Almighty: He manifests His punishment through seemingly weak and defenseless creatures. So, for the refusal of the pharaoh to release Moses and his people for worship, one of the "executions of Egypt" was the invasion of toads, midges, "dog flies", locusts that flooded all of Egypt. The "plagues of Egypt," according to the Bible, forced the pharaoh to release the people of Israel from captivity (Ex. 8:10).

About Ayat Al Kursi

Ayat Al Kursi (oyatal kursi) is the 255th verse of Surah Al Bakar (cow). (Some believe that this ayat is a sura) Prophet Mohammad (sallallahu "alayhi wa sallam) said that this is the greatest verse of the Qur'an, because it contains in evidence of monotheism, as well as the greatness and infinity of the qualities of the Almighty. It contains "ismi ´azam", i.e. the greatest name of the Almighty.

Imam al-Bukhari in his collection of hadith cites a hadith about his dignity: “Once, when Abu Hurayrah (radiallahu anhu) was guarding the collected zakat, he caught a thief who said to him: “Let me go and I will teach you such words that Allah will make useful for you!” Abu Hurairah (radiallahu anhu) asked: “What are those words?” He said: “When you go to bed, read “ayat al-Kursi” from beginning to end, and a guardian from Allah will always be with you, and the shaitan will not be able to approach you until the morning!” After that, Abu Hurairah (radiallahu "ahnu) told the Prophet (sallallahu "alaihi wa sallam) about this, and he said: “He really told you the truth, despite the fact that he is a notorious liar!” After that, the Prophet (PBUH) told Abu Hurairah (Radiallahu “AHNU”) that it was Satan himself in the form of a man.”

Another hadith says: "When Ayatul Kursi was sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu "aleihi wa sallam), the Angel Jibrail, surrounded by 70 thousand angels, transmitted this verse, saying that" He who sincerely reads it will receive a reward as for 70 years of service to the Almighty, and whoever reads Ayatul Kursi before leaving home will be surrounded by 1,000 angels who will pray for his forgiveness."

Reading the verse of Al-Kursi is equal to reading one fourth of the Qur'an, at least listen to it constantly.

Whoever reads it will be protected from thieves and the devil. Reading this verse before entering the house drives out the shaitan from there. If you read it and blow on food and drink, it will bring a blessing, and if on things and clothes, it will protect them from the devil and the thief. Reading Ayatul Kursi will be protected from the evil of genies from morning to evening and from evening to morning.

Whoever reads the text of Ayat al Kursi constantly after each obligatory prayer, then only death separates this person from Paradise. If you read Ayat al-Kursi along with last verse Surah Al-Bakar, then the dua (prayer to the Almighty) will not go unanswered. Download Ayat Al-Kursi from the site to read 33 or 99 times daily for safety and blessings. Read 3 times before bedtime, especially if you have nightmares. Praise be to Allah, the Supreme Lord, in whose hand is power over everything and to whom you will be returned!

Ayat “Al-Kursi” is a special verse of the Holy Quran, which has not only a deep meaning, but also the power of mystical influence.

Allahu laya ilyayahe illaya huwal-hayyul-qayyuum, laya ta - huzuhu sinatuv-valaya navm, lyahumaafis-samaavaati wamaafil-ard, men zal-lyazii yashfya'u 'indahu illaya bi of them, ya'lamu maa beine aidiihim wa maa halfahum wa laya yuhiituune bi sheyim-min 'ilmihi illa bi maa shaa'a, wasi'a kursiyuhu ssamaavati val-ard, wa lyauduhu hifzuhumaa wa huval-'aliyul-'aziim.

Translation:
Allah(God, Lord) ...
Heaven and Earth are embraced by cursium (Great Throne) Him and not
troubled by His care for them[About everything that is in our galactic system]. He is the Supreme[by all characteristics above everything and everything],
Great[His greatness has no limits]!” (see, Holy Quran, sura “al-Baqarah”, verse 255 (2:255)).

“Throne” (“al-kursi”) is one of the greatest creations of the Creator. The Messenger of Allah said: “The seven heavens (Earth and Heaven) in comparison with the foot of the “Throne” are like a ring thrown in the desert, and the superiority of [the] “Throne” over its foot is like the superiority of this desert over this ring.” “Throne” no one is able to imagine in a worthy way, except for Almighty Allah. The above words of the verse “Al-Kursi” should not be interpreted in a literal sense. Allah cannot be limited by any space, does not need any “al-kursi” (throne, chair) or “al-‘arsh” (throne).

Ayat "Al-Kursi" in its meaning and significance is equal to one quarter of the entire Holy Quran. Ali, the successor of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), spoke about the strength of his action: “I cannot understand those Muslims who, before going to bed, do not read the ayat “Al-Kursi”. If you knew how great this verse is, you would never neglect to read it, because it was given to your Messenger Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, from the treasures of al-‘Arsh. Ayat “Al-Kursi” was not given to any of the prophets before Muhammad (God bless them). And I never spend a night without reciting the verse of Al-Kursi three times [before going to bed].”

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever reads the ayat “Al-Kursi” after the prayer-prayer, he will be under the protection of Allah Almighty until the next prayer.” “To the one who reads the ayat “Al-Kursi” after the prayer-prayer, [if he dies] nothing will prevent him from entering Paradise.”

"Al-Kursi":
"Bismillahi-r-rahmani r-rahim. Allahu la ilaha illa hu al-hayul-kayyum. Laa ta" huzuhu sinatyn wa laa naum Lahu maa fissamaauyaati wa maa fil ard. Translation:
"Allah is the One besides Whom, there is no deity. He is Living, Eternally Existing, neither slumber nor sleep overcomes Him. Everything that is in Heaven and everything that is on Earth belongs to Him, whoever intercedes before Him, without His permission "He knows what was before them and knows what will happen after them, they seize from His knowledge only what He wills. His Throne embraces Heaven and Earth, and His guarding them is not burdensome, truly. He is High, Great" .

« AyatAeh- Kursi” is the 255th verse of Surah Bakara of the Holy Quran. The hadeeth of the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) states:

“Like everything in the world has a core, a foundation, so the essence, the central place of the Bakara sura is the Ayat of the Heavenly Throne.

Hazrat Babafariduddin Janj (rahmatullah 'alayh) reported that “When Ayat al-Kursi was sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), the Angel Jibrail ('alayhis-salaam), surrounded by 70 thousand angels, transmitted this verse, saying at the same time that “The one who sincerely reads it will receive a reward as for 70 years of service to the Almighty. And the one who reads Ayat al-Kursi before leaving the house will be surrounded by 1000 angels who will pray for his forgiveness.”

The person reading this verse is under the protection of the most majestic angels of the Almighty.

Reading Ayat al-Kursi will be protected from the evil of jinn from morning to evening and from evening to morning.

Ayat al-Kursi is equal to a quarter of the Holy Quran.

Whoever reads Ayat al-Kursi constantly after each obligatory prayer, then only death separates this person from Paradise.

Whoever reads Ayat al-Kursi after the obligatory prayer will be protected until the next prayer.

And the reader himself, and his children, and his house, and his wealth, property, and even the houses of neighbors will be protected.

Whoever reads Ayat al-Kursi before going to bed will be protected by two angels until the morning.

Whoever reads Ayat al-Kursi before leaving the house, he will be under the protection of Allah until he returns.

Whoever reads Ayat al-Kursi and the beginning of Sura N 40 “Gaafir” in the morning will be safe until the evening, and if you read in the evening, then there will be safety until the morning.

Kutbubbin Bakhtiyar (rahmatullah ‘alayh - may Allah be merciful to him) reported, “Allah will relieve the house of the person who reads Ayat al-Kursi before leaving the house.”

When reading Ayat al-Kursi, the evil genies are expelled from the premises.

Who on Fridays, preferably in solitude, begins to read Ayat al-Kursi 70 times after the Al-Asr prayer (the third in a row), he will begin to see the inner spiritual light, and every dua made at this moment will be accepted by Allah.

Before any test that a person has to experience, whether it is a meeting with negative people or another danger in the form of a natural element, etc. read Ayat al-Kursi.

The Great Caliph of Islam - "Ali (glad to Allah anhu) said:
“I cannot understand those Muslims who do not read Ayat al-Kursi before going to bed. If you only knew how great this verse is, you would never neglect reading Ayat al-Kursi, because it was given to the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu ‘aleihi wa sallam) from the treasuries of Al-Arsh. Ayat al-Kursi was not sent down to any of the Prophets before the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). And I never go to bed without first reading Ayat al-Kursi.
