How to make the unconscious work for you. Techniques for working with the unconscious

If you need to solve a problem, you can analyze it in detail in your mind, or rely on the help of your unconscious - in both cases, the probability of the optimal answer will be the same.

It happens that we accept important decision, without even having time to think it through properly. Moreover, it often turns out to be correct, and even more correct than if we solved the problem “explicitly”.

It is believed that unconscious mechanisms are at work here: we act on a whim, not understanding how we could have thought of this.

However, even if our consciousness is occupied with other things, it does not at all follow that the brain is not trying to understand the problem - another thing is that not all processes in our psyche are accessible to our direct observation.

When making a choice, you can equally rely on both your consciousness and your unconscious

Unconscious decision making, as has been said, is considered more effective in many cases than conscious deliberation, especially when it comes to something important and complex.

Sometimes they even advise you to deliberately forget about the task in front of you, stop turning it around in your head, so that the solution can come on its own. Psychological experiments seem to have indeed confirmed that the unconscious copes with problems more effectively than consciousness.

However, there is actually still no consensus among researchers regarding how “smart” our unconscious mind can be.

Typically, in experiments on this topic, a group of volunteers is asked to do some kind of Difficult choice– for example, choose an item with the most optimal characteristics. You can either slowly and “consciously” think about them, or quickly familiarize yourself with them and move on to some other task, for example, solving a crossword puzzle. In the second case, the choice will be made unconsciously.

But only half of the experimental results obtained in this way confirm the advantage of the unconscious in decision making.

Its proponents argue that the unconscious effect is too sensitive to external circumstances, and that the negative result can be explained by small variations in the experimental conditions: for example, if in different experiments, different crossword puzzles were given to distract attention.

Critics of the unconscious talk about insufficient statistics in the works where it was possible to obtain positive results - that is, roughly speaking, the experiments were carried out with too few participants.

Psychologists from the universities of Groningen and Tilburg (the Netherlands) decided to find out who was right here. They asked nearly four hundred people (about ten times the number of people who usually participate in such studies) to choose between four cars or four apartments.

There were 12 signs by which it was necessary to choose, some of them spoke in favor of the object, some - against it, so that in each case it was possible to choose the optimal option. With those who had to make a decision unconsciously, they used the most effective ways distractions.

As a result, it turned out that the choice with a conscious decision and with an unconscious one is not very different: in both cases, volunteers tended to the correct option with the same frequency.

In an article published in Judgment and Decision Making, psychologists published not only their own experimental data, but also the results of a meta-analysis of several dozen works on the effectiveness of unconscious decisions.

Meta-analysis allows you to identify correlations between data from many articles and understand whether a global pattern can be judged based on the entire body of research on a topic. And it turned out that, ultimately, there were no significant advantages to unconsciously decisions taken No.

Research into the “smart unconscious” began with the experiments of Apa Dyksterhuis ( Ap Dijksterhuis), who proposed a theory of unconscious rumination in 2004. Of course, he could not help but comment on the new data.

According to him, psychologists in the past could indeed take into account results that were not very reliable, because at that time there were not enough tools for their statistical processing. However, Ap Dyksterhuis believes that the meta-analysis could have shown a different result if it used more data - as articles on this topic continue to be published and the theory of the “smart unconscious” is increasingly taking root in the scientific community.

On the other hand, as he writes Nature News, in psychology there are a number of phenomena that would not hurt to be “re-examined” with greater care, for which a project was even created to re-check the results of psychological experiments.

Since one of the most important criteria of truth in science is the reproducibility of the result, that is, the ability to repeat it in an independent study, then within the framework Replication Project What psychologists do is try to reproduce some of the psychological phenomena.

Serious questions have already arisen about some theories: for example, doubts have arisen about the reliability of the concept of social priming, when certain aspects of human behavior change under the influence of certain social stimuli. It is possible that the benefits of unconscious thinking in the future will turn out to be not at all what they were thought to be.

Many people do not deny the fact of the existence of a subconscious system and its use in the process of life. Some even attribute the roughness of their character to the game of the subconscious. But the actual state of affairs suggests that if a person finds willpower in himself and learns to manage his inner world, then inevitable success in life awaits him. Every person needs to learn to control subconscious processes, because it is then that the mind, and not emotions and feelings, will control life. All decisions will be made harmoniously. So, in order to understand how to control the subconscious, you need to understand the basic facts.

What is the subconscious?

The subconscious is not a fictitious concept. This is a very real component of the human body, which is considered even in medicine. It is what helps a person navigate certain life situations. Some people confuse the subconscious with intuition. Throughout his life, a person accumulates a lot of information in his subconscious, which is acquired through the experience of life. Certain thoughts create habits or encourage a person to take some actions, sometimes actions that are unusual for him.

Habits acquired in this way are called psychological skills. They are instilled in a person by parents, acquaintances, and personal experience. Thanks to this, a personality is subsequently formed with his own unique view of the world. It is this fact that explains the diversity of opinions and characters of people.

The subconscious doesn't regenerate new ideas or anything like that. The whole point is that a person creates his own subconscious information. Thoughts, feelings, subconscious - in this order the transfer of information occurs. Thus, everything that is reproduced in a person’s thoughts becomes part of the inner world. People program themselves. This quality can be used for yourself with incredible benefit, but otherwise you can get the opposite negative effect. The accumulation of this information is also influenced by external environment, therefore, a person must carefully select his social circle so as not to subsequently become part of a not entirely favorable company of people. Subconscious attitudes are not so easy to change. Although there are certain techniques that help completely eliminate negative programs.

The initial task of the subconscious is to systematize and filter out unnecessary information. The choice, so to speak, of a rational grain. This happens in the process of transforming thoughts into visual images. The subconscious mind helps a person achieve his programmed goals, which will help him achieve success and accomplish certain desired tasks. The power of the subconscious is quite a powerful thing, which can make a person more resistant to difficulties, thereby making the passage life path lighter.

But, despite a number of such positive and important properties for a person, not everyone can use such skills rationally. This suggests that with his thoughts a person can program his subconscious for negative phenomena, which can subsequently lead to disastrous results. That is why it is important to monitor not only your actions, but also your thoughts. Psychologists recommend thinking positively.

If a person constantly thinks that, for example, he cannot start a family. After some time, thoughts move to the programming stage and the person’s desire to have his own family completely disappears. And already in progress Serious relationships he avoids his family, psychologically alienating his partner.
This is how, with simple actions, a person can harm himself and completely destroy his life.

Functions of the subconscious

For many, it will be a discovery that the work of the human body is determined by the functions of the subconscious. For a more visual representation, the human body can be compared to some large production facility that employs a huge number of people. Thus, the subconscious is the large working class that carries out the necessary processes for the normal functioning of the enterprise. Consciousness and subconsciousness are in close cooperation. The role of consciousness is to set global goals, that is, it is the director of the enterprise.

In addition, you can find other ways of comparison. For example, the human body in its properties can be similar to a kind of computer. The human consciousness acts as a kind of programmer who is able to install certain programs and other components for the normal operation of the machine. But the subconscious mind ensures the operation of these programs, their reliability and the precise execution of the necessary tasks. Only when consciousness and subconscious form a harmonious tandem can a person be happy.

The functions of the subconscious mind are quite simple to understand. They are, first of all, aimed at systematizing and storing the necessary information in the human brain. If you develop his capabilities, you can come to the conclusion that it is simply unrealistic to limit them; a person can remember everything he needs. It is a known fact that by the 21st year of life an individual is able to accumulate an incredible amount of information in his head, which is several hundred times greater than the volume of the large Encyclopedia Britannica. But the problem is that many do not know how to use this gift of nature and how to apply this or that knowledge at the right time. Working with the subconscious can take a person to a different level of life.

Scientists have conducted studies in which they have found that a person in a state of hypnosis can depict any events in his life in great detail. But older people can even tell what happened 50 years ago, and the details will not be omitted. This experiment once again proves that human brain limitless and has amazing possibilities. All the secrets of the subconscious have not been fully revealed, but some points have already been studied.

The presence of such a thing is quite simply explainable. The brain contains a huge amount of information thanks to processes occurring at the subconscious level. In addition, the brain constantly experiences a large number of variable actions, for example, rewriting information, building logical chains. Unfortunately, man has not yet reached the point of managing such phenomena. This is quite simple to explain, because the process of assimilation of information and its systematization has not yet been fully studied. All the secrets of the subconscious this moment not yet manifested.

The process of subconscious transformations is very complex. One of the most important functions is the homeostatic process. For example, this includes human body temperature. It is the subconscious that maintains it at a level of 36.6. The subconscious mind controls the process of breathing and heartbeat. Thanks to this, a person is maintained in a normal and stable state. Works offline nervous system, which supports chemical exchange and many other processes. Thanks to such well-functioning work, the body feels comfortable and continues its vital functions.

The balance of the body is maintained by other functions; this also happens in the sphere of thinking. Your subconscious mind is capable of remembering the most comfortable conditions that you have ever experienced. Based on these conditions, our body strives to return to that comfort zone again. If a person tries to go beyond it, the body begins to react not quite correctly, discomfort is felt both on the physical and emotional levels. This only means that the person’s subconscious has turned on its old functions and is trying to return to a state of complete comfort.

Any new sensations for a person, both physically and emotionally, can cause inconvenience, a feeling of awkwardness and fear. Such sensations can manifest themselves, for example, when searching new job, passing the first exams, meeting new strangers, trying to establish a connection with the opposite sex. This is exactly what the whole palette says that a person needs to get out of his comfort zone, but the subconscious, unfortunately, does not allow this to be done, because of this nervousness and a feeling of discomfort arise. To avoid such phenomena, people should learn how to control the subconscious.

Human development depends on the activity of the subconscious

The comfort zone can become a kind of trap. This is especially true for creative and imaginative people. After all, a flight of thought is required here. Sometimes it's useful and physical stress been through. The calm and measured fluidity of life is truly the hell of a creative person. Those people who decide to become leaders need to leave their comfort zone. A person gains new experience, new skills that will later help him. But over time, all this again enters the comfort zone.

Let’s say if they decide to promote you up the career ladder or force you to make an expensive purchase, you will feel discomfort and inconvenience for some time. In general, this process leads to the fact that a person builds a new comfort zone for himself based on the rules that are necessary to achieve a certain goal. If a person cannot overcome these feelings, then it will be almost impossible to build a new comfort zone, but if he copes with this test, then, in the end, he will gain new knowledge, experience, as well as a new comfort zone that expands his capabilities .

If someone has set a goal too high for themselves, then they need to be prepared for a long road. He will need to learn to let go of stereotypes and remove labels. And this process takes time. This is working with the subconscious.

The main rule is that a person must formulate a goal for himself. Moreover, this goal should be similar to a law that he will constantly scroll through in his thoughts. It is thanks to this this goal will be recorded, so to speak, on the subcortex. A person will gradually begin to believe in this, and soon events will begin to come true. The power of the subconscious will itself push you to take the right actions that are necessary to achieve a certain goal. The person will become sensitive to the information that needs to be obtained in the process of achieving the goal, and then he will actually implement his ordinary life big goal.

How does the subconscious mind work?

As previously stated, the subconscious mind is truly an amazing tool. It is this that can influence all areas of life. But how does this happen? If you understand this issue, you can understand how to change the subconscious.
A person constantly builds some of his own internal beliefs and principles. Thus, its development or degradation occurs. Consciousness independently attracts to itself the factors of interest in a person’s life, forces him to get acquainted with those people who correspond to his principles and beliefs, and much more. The surprising fact is that whether a person believes in it or not, the subconscious will still exist. This does not depend on the desires of people or on their any social status. This law is in effect constantly. All troubles in life will happen only thanks to beliefs, because the subconscious can do anything - make a person happy or lead to problems. For example, if he is convinced that he is doomed to poverty, then this is exactly what will happen. We need to start with the world and help change the outer shell. Starting with the latter makes no sense. There will be no changes. Situations will be repeated until the internal deep causes are eliminated. Therefore, it is very important to know how to control the subconscious. It must initially be programmed correctly. In order for life to be harmonious in all areas, it is necessary to study the world around you. That is, thoughts must be literate and combined with real events. In this situation, a person will be able to achieve well-being by changing not only the world around him, but also by changing something in himself. will give you the opportunity to get what you want, improve yourself in some way and help other people.

Concentration of the subconscious

Not every person knows how to control the subconscious, although many have heard about it more than once. Not everyone understands its nature and methods of use. Its power is limitless, and scientists have long proven this. If a person has learned to control his own subconscious, then he has received additional vital energy which will help him later. Having learned to control his own subconscious, he can direct his life in the direction that he needs.

There is a wonderful book “Techniques for controlling the subconscious mind” (Murphy Joseph). The author reveals in it the secrets of such a thing as “mental treatment”. This term has several interpretations. Firstly, by changing his subconscious, a person can change his essence. The author says that all people’s problems lie in unfulfilled desires. A person is deeply worried about the fact that he did not achieve results, his plans did not come true. In this case, you should not count on life in harmony. Secondly, mental treatment also means improving a person’s physical health.

Subconscious Control Methods

The subconscious can do anything, a person just needs to set it up correctly. Many people want to receive some specific recommendations on how to do this. There aren't many of them. Below are some of the subconscious mind control techniques:

  1. Before going to bed, you need to give your subconscious a task - to solve the problem that is bothering you. The thought form accepted by truth travels from the brain to the solar plexus and ultimately materializes.
  2. You should not limit your subconscious to traditional methods. You need to think big.
  3. Don't react too deeply painful sensations in body. You need to trust fate.
  4. Before going to bed, visualize the fulfillment of your desire several times. Thoughts, feelings, subconscious - all these are links in one chain.

Abilities of the subconscious system

The subconscious is often compared to a computer into which certain types of programs can be inserted. This is how inner conviction and regeneration of thought occurs. As for the formation of human habits, their regeneration occurs due to the repeated repetition of certain formulations.
Having formed certain psychological habits, a person begins to gradually move towards the goal. In this process, he acquires certain beliefs, new views, exactly what he needs to perceive environment already in a new role. The subconscious system regenerates certain tasks through visual and mental images. It is these aspects that are necessary for a person to receive such a mindset for success.

Tasks of the subconscious

The unconscious part of the human mind has a rather difficult function - this is the systematization and interpretation of certain data that is laid down in the process of thinking and visualization. The subconscious is obliged to help a person receive exactly those desired thoughts and images that he imagined. But, besides this, it also helps a person to control the work of everyone internal organs and life systems, this process is also incredibly important.

Possible difficulties

The problems that a person may encounter is a lack of knowledge to correctly form their own thoughts. People can fix in their subconscious something completely different from what they want. This happens because the unconscious reaction cannot determine whether the thoughts are good or bad. Therefore, he perceives everything as truth. In this situation, you need to be very careful not to insert destructive thoughts into your own unconscious reflexes.

How to deal with problems?

To overcome the destructive effect of thought, you must first understand why a person programs himself for failure. If he can cross this border, he will receive truly invaluable knowledge that will open a lot of doors for him. First of all, you need to accustom yourself to think positively in any situation, to find positive sides even in the most desperate situations, so as not to send negative energy flows into your own unconscious system.

Georgy Sidorov offers effective ways to change the paradigm. “Managing the Subconscious and Exiting the Matrix” is one of the best seminars that provides techniques for working with your inner world. Many other authors in their works also reveal implemented practices for controlling the subconscious. Believe in yourself, confront difficulties, get rid of guilt, learn to forgive, eliminate depression and become truly happy man Valery Sinelnikov’s book “Secrets of the Subconscious” will help.

Psychoanalysis is a multi-valued concept: it is the largest theory of personality, a method of studying the unconscious, and a method of treating various mental disorders. It was all created by one person - the Austrian doctor Sigmund Freud. He was able to formulate in his theories what other scientists and thinkers had only guessed at; began to use techniques in his work with patients that his fellow doctors were hostile to and even ridiculed, but it was these techniques that helped people get rid of mental illness. Thanks to his courage, Freud was able to make discoveries that became the basis of psychoanalysis and an important part of modern culture.

Founding Father

The Austrian doctor Sigmund Freud began his private practice as a psychiatrist in 1882. Trying to help his patients who suffered from mood swings, attacks of melancholy, and anxiety, he studies various methods treatment of nervous diseases. Working together with the leading French psychiatrist Charcot (Jean-Martin Charcot), he mastered the technique of hypnosis. Together with his colleague Josef Brejer, he develops a method of catharsis - the release of emotions during a conversation between a patient and a doctor. Together with Breuer, Freud writes the book “Studies on Hysteria,” in which, for the first time in the history of medicine, he argues that hysteria is “not a disease of the nerves,” but a personality disorder. Communication with Breuer helped him to come to the discovery of the unconscious, to an understanding of the process of repression of traumatic experiences (we “forget” what we cannot cope with) and childhood sexuality, which determines the development of our psyche. In his treatment technique, Freud stopped using hypnosis and began working with the help of free associations (including dream analysis), which became the basis of the method of psychoanalysis.

A free and creative person

Thanks to psychoanalysis, many psychotherapeutic directions and personality theories have emerged over the past hundred years: Jungian analysis, individual psychology, individual psychology by Alfred Adler, body-oriented psychotherapy by Wilhelm Reich, transactional analysis by Eric Berne and many other.

PSYCHOANALYSIS KNOW: OUR SUFFERING HAS A MEANING HIDDEN... WITHIN US.

Perhaps this is why psychoanalysis today is often confused with psychotherapy, believing that it the main objective– to help a person better adapt to life, become calm, capable of constructive actions and relationships. However, psychoanalysis not only helps the patient to free himself from the symptoms and problems that bother him. First of all, it gives him the opportunity to gain greater inner freedom, feel the value of personal development and, most importantly, teaches him to conduct a dialogue with his unconscious, and therefore understand the hidden motives of his actions, and resolve internal conflicts.

The world inside us is infinite, but the psychoanalytic process is finite in time (but lasts at least four years). Therefore, it is very important that during this time the patient not only works through his main problems, but also feels his mature “I”, thanks to which he will be able to continue his inner work even after the psychoanalysis is completed.

Who needs it?

Psychoanalysts work with almost the entire range of psychological problems, with the exception of those requiring medication (psychiatric) treatment. Today, they are increasingly being turned to by those who seek to better understand their inner world and discover new ways to develop your personality. These are people, as a rule, with a high internal culture. Self-development is part of their life. They are ready to understand themselves more deeply, to discover the unconscious meaning of their experiences or life situations that bother them. Anyone who wants to undergo personal analysis must acknowledge his psychological problems and difficulties and understand that their source is within the person himself (and not just in the external world).

Work tool"

One of the main “tools” in psychoanalytic work is the personality of the analyst. He must be able to dive into the patient’s unconscious, experience with him his most hidden internal conflicts and tragedies, while simultaneously comprehending them analytically and accurately understanding what is happening in his soul. That is why the training standards accepted throughout the world are very high. Psychoanalysts must have higher education specialty “psychologist” or “psychiatrist” and special postgraduate education, which, in particular, includes experience in personal analysis (at least four years) and two years of work with at least two patients under constant supervision (supervision by a more experienced colleague). Moreover, both his analyst and supervisors must be members of the International Psychoanalytic Association.

Safe space

The result of psychoanalysis largely depends on the conditions in which meetings with the analyst take place. They are always clearly defined (analysts call these rules “setting”): the patient comes to the same place, at a predetermined time, and does this three to five times a week. The session lasts 45-50 minutes. All missed meetings are paid for regardless of the reason for which they were missed. Analysts are confident that such stability and clarity of conditions helps the patient to feel responsible for the work and develops his internal analytical process, which should not depend on external or internal interference.

The patient lies on the couch during the session, and this helps him stop controlling external reality - after all, he cannot monitor the analyst’s reaction (he sits at his head), but only hears his voice. And there is a feeling that you are talking at the same time with real person, with yourself and with the fantasy image of an analyst that arises in you.

What is the unconscious?

Freud was sure that our psyche has several levels: consciousness, preconscious and unconscious. Some of our fantasies and desires are in the preconscious and become clear only when we direct our attention to it. But there is much we cannot understand even at the cost of the greatest efforts. This part of the soul is called the "unconscious". Here is everything that worries and hurts us, that is unacceptable to our “I”. Even with an effort of will, we cannot realize or “remember” this on our own. And psychoanalysis helps us do this work.

Transference and countertransference

TO REMEMBER AND RETHINK AGAIN WHAT HAS BEEN REMOVED INTO THE UNCONSCIOUS.

According to the basic rule of psychoanalysis, the patient must say everything that he thinks and feels, everything that comes to his mind, even what is unpleasant, embarrassing or painful to report (this is free association). Trying to follow this rule, he begins to experience different feelings towards the analyst (this phenomenon in psychoanalysis is called “transference”). The patient projects his unconscious desires, feelings and conflicts onto him and experiences them with new strength. For example, he may be angry with the analyst because he (as it seems to him) has been silent for a long time. But as a result of analyzing these feelings, he discovers that his anger was actually directed at his own mother, who once, in childhood, punished him with silence for any offense. The transfer of previous conflictual relationships and fantasies from the past to the psychoanalytic office allows you to remember, experience and rethink what was repressed into the unconscious at different stages of life.

But it is no less important for the result of the work that the analyst captures the emotions that arise in him in response to the patient’s experiences (such reactions are called “countertransference”). This helps him understand even the deepest unconscious experiences of the patient and interpret them, that is, transform the unconscious into the conscious. As a result of psychoanalysis, the patient is surprised to discover that someone can treat him warmly, sincerely help him, and believe in him. Ultimately, he will begin to build his life with this new experience.

How to work with the conscious and subconscious

Working with the subconscious, simple and effective exercises or trust in your inner self

Good time friends! In my last article "", I wrote about how important it is to be present in your life, to observe yourself and trust in your inner self, in your natural state.

If you have not read it yet, then it is advisable to familiarize yourself with it, otherwise this article may seem difficult to understand.

Too many people are not present in their lives, are not present for real, although they are absolutely sure of the opposite.

And in fact, for the most part, only their experiences and thoughts are present; eternal problems, which everyone has to one degree or another; various ideas, beliefs and values, many of which cannot be called necessary and healthy at all..

Internal unconscious dialogue with oneself is the usual state of such people. By and large, they are not aware of themselves (their essence), they are not aware of why and how certain thoughts appear in their heads, and therefore they believe them without evidence, which is why they suffer. They are not aware of their body sensations, which tell them a lot, and they are not aware of much of what is happening in reality.

People forget about themselves and their health, remembering only when unbearable sensations and pain begin. Or when they begin to understand that life has become not at all joyful, gray and without any hint of pleasure.

Those who have already felt this are looking for a solution. They understand that something is wrong with their condition, with their attitude towards themselves and the world around them, and they need to do something, but what exactly is not at all clear to a person. There are various excellent techniques, trainings and books that can help a person understand himself and tell him how and what to do.

Another thing is that we are all different. And for one person, some very good training will not be able to fully help. And only because the training is designed for one perception, and a person may have a completely different perception of himself, events and the world around him.

For some, visual information is more suitable; it has a better effect on his psyche and it is easier for him to accept and digest it in his head. The other has a better developed auditory perception of information. Someone else needs Feedback for support, otherwise, he himself is not able to take steps towards health, while the third is simply mistaken, calculating and looking for a magic pill that will immediately relieve him of the problem.

There are natural, natural ways, which is not the first time I’ve written about on the site and which many people don’t know about, although they probably guess. Because in difficult moments, instinctively, little realizing it, they began to do something that suddenly calmed them down, gave them strength, helped them collect themselves and even gave them pleasure. That is, they began to feel that life It turns out it’s not at all as bad as it seemed just recently.

Each of us can remember such moments when our souls were so gloomy, and then, plunging into ourselves and starting to listen to ourselves, somewhere unconsciously observing ourselves and our feelings, we became better.

And sometimes it was like this - having let go of the problem, suddenly, unexpectedly for yourself, the solution came, as if by itself.

This is a state of altered consciousness or mild hypnosis - meditation when part of the brain stops doing something, but only observes for something. A state into which a person can introduce himself simply by focusing on his feelings and observations of himself, his thoughts or actions. It is by observing this, and not by experiencing and analyzing.

So, how to work with the subconscious, we learn to feel ourselves.

An exercise to start with will help you learn relax and get in touch with your body. The exercise is aimed at first just feeling your body fully, from fingertips to head. And feel any, even the most minor, changes in the body, get used to it and learn to simply observe yourself, without being distracted by any thoughts.

1 Practice. We get comfortable in a chair and, closing our eyes, begin to observe our physical sensations in the body. Attention should move throughout the body, from the tips of the toes to the top of the head.

The task is simply to observe the sensations of your body, no matter what sensations they are, pleasant or not. Now you just need to really feel your body well and learn to observe the sensations.

If you can't pay attention, let it go. Without analyzing anything, relax, and for some moments try to feel any part of the body, without trying to focus closely on it. If your attention has led you to another part of the body, or a sensation may have arisen, so be it.

The most important thing is doing nothing should occur as if doing nothing, without any tension or thinking about anything. If you are distracted and your thoughts run away towards some problem, then we do not fight this thought, do not quarrel and do not try to enter into any dialogue with it in order to calm ourselves down, but you can simply watch it without proving anything and nothing without deciding for yourself. And then we simply, calmly turn our attention to our observation of sensations in the body.

If you can’t do the exercise right now or you feel discomfort, then you shouldn’t continue it. Just take a break and try again after some time, you will succeed.

Sometimes this takes several days for some people, while others can almost immediately feel the whole body and easily observe their sensations. It is better, at first, to do this with calm music, but it is not necessary. 5-6 times a day from 10 to 20 minutes, in the morning, immediately after getting up and in the evening before bed, very desirable. It is at this time that the brain is in the most suitable state.

Working with the subconscious, going deeper into our feelings.

2 The exercise is deeper. We do everything the same. We made ourselves comfortable and now, after first observing all the sensations in the body for a couple of minutes, we gradually turn our attention first to our hands. We try to notice and feel any differences in sensations in the hands, if any.

Maybe one hand is warmer than the other, maybe there are more specific tingling or twitching, pulsations, goosebumps or something else on one hand, or maybe even the same sensations in the hands. Through 2- 3 minutes, we also observe the feet.

Having observed and felt, we turn our attention only to pleasant sensations. Also first on hands a couple of minutes, then feet. The sensations can be the same, the main thing is that they are pleasant.

After this, we observe any pleasant, comfortable sensations already, throughout the body. It could be your head or a finger on your hand, anything as long as your attention and observation are focused on what is pleasant or simply comfortable.

Your attention can wander on its own, follow these comfortable sensations, which is what you do. It is not necessary to direct your observation to something specific.

Again, if attention returns to some kind of pain or problem in the body, then without trying to fight it, we quietly return to the pleasant. You may still feel some pain if you have any.

But observing pleasant sensations gives you the opportunity to feel how good it is to be in a comfortable state and feel less of something negative; this is also important for your subconscious, for it to record this state. And you can go into such a state of pleasant comfort at any time, whenever you want, according to your desire. This exercise will help you focus on what is positive for you.

It is also important when working with the subconscious. When performing these exercises, do not pursue the goal itself, think only about the goal, try to achieve something quickly. It is important to do the exercises as if playing, to captivate yourself with the process itself, and not the goal itself. We need to take an example from a child, I wrote about this in more detail in this article.

By setting a goal, you definitely set yourself up to achieve it and as quickly as possible, but this is not work with consciousness, everything should happen on its own, on its own, easily, with pleasure and without stress.

Gradually it will be necessary to transfer this exercise in life. Life, the most best teacher. It is important to learn to trust your inner energy, your inner doctor. Nature has the ability to adapt extremely subtly to external reality and self-heal. We ourselves are nature, and a piece of its energy is in each of us, in our inner world (subconscious).

The task is to correspond to reality, track and open to real (authentic) sensations.

Transferring the exercise to life , you can change your emotional condition to one that will be pleasant and comfortable for you. I note that this will not always work, a lot depends on your condition and ability to concentrate, but regular use will definitely bear fruit.

The state of presence, feeling yourself and observing yourself is working on yourself. Work that is little understood by consciousness, but which will allow you to feel yourself in reality, feel natural and enjoy life, relying not only on your consciousness, but also on your inner world of intuition.

The most interesting thing is that this is a state of passive observation and doing nothing, a very pleasant state, this is the so-called amazing and sincere state of “No-mind”. The main thing is that such observation occurs without tension and attempts to understand anything for oneself, that is, without analysis. If you start thinking about what, how and why, you will immediately begin to get out of it.

We simply observe everything that happens around and inside us - thoughts, any feelings and sensations. All this is in each of us and it is important to learn to work with it; we not only feel and experience, but observe. We allow ourselves a subconscious rather than a conscious analysis of the situation, more spontaneity and natural choice, this is the basis of working with the subconscious.

How does this work in real life: Let's take a very harmful condition that simply demoralizes a person. You encountered something or someone that caused this feeling in you. You felt it, you could even have a panic attack, but now you need to try to remember for yourself what besides how to feel and experience it negative feeling, you can still follow him observe. Which is what we are starting to do.

You may not be able to enter into this state of self-observation right away; everything won’t work out right away, despite the fact that everything seems so simple, it’s that we are too focused on internal dialogue with myself. Therefore, you first need to do the exercise in a simple, comfortable environment and slowly.

By observing fear, turning off part of your brain, you become more aware that fear is not you. A person already understands this, but at the time when you begin to experience it, you compare yourself with fear as one whole, and then you specifically understand that fear is in you, but you are separate from it.

And observation itself and mental inaction allows the subconscious to work on this fear, the powerful power and ability of the brain for neuroplasticity operates. Besides all this, leaning on on observation state, it is easier, without hostility with fear and thoughts, to transfer attention to some other sensations, to something pleasant, here it is only important not to drive away thoughts of fear if they have already come, you just don’t have to argue with them, analyze them and try with all your might to calm them down yourself, it is important to observe all the sensations as if from the outside.

A tool for working with the conscious and subconscious mind, which will greatly help you gradually form new image thinking and eliminating (changing) something unwanted in oneself. In it, I discuss in detail the important points and my own experience of application (this is an updated version of this article, read the link above).

Best regards, Andrey Russkikh.

The first thing you need to learn is that your subconscious is always working. That is, it is active night and day, regardless of whether you act on it or not. The subconscious is the builder of your body, but you cannot, through a conscious effort, hear this silent internal process. Your sphere is the conscious mind, not the subconscious (unconscious). You just need to maintain your consciousness in a state of some expectation best events and make sure that your habitual way of thinking is based solely on loyalty, justice and love. You must begin to take good care of your subconscious, understanding with your soul and heart that the subconscious always expresses, embodies and reproduces everything in accordance with your way of thinking.

Faith and beliefs are thoughts of the subconscious. If you believe, it means you accept something as truth. Any accepted thought is automatically fulfilled. “According to your faith you will be rewarded!”

How to convey to my subconscious the idea that I have impeccable health

One Protestant priest wrote about the method he used to convey to his subconscious certain thoughts about impeccable health. He had lung cancer. The priest outlined his methodology in writing: “Two or three times a day I brought my body and soul into a relaxed state. After relaxing the whole body, I repeated the following words: “My feet are completely relaxed, my legs are relaxed. My stomach muscles are relaxing right now. My heart beats calmly, my breathing is even and relaxed. My head is completely relaxed, I’m completely relaxed and completely calm.” About five minutes later, when I was sinking into a drowsy, sleepy state, I affirmed: “The perfection of God’s very plan is now finding expression in me. My subconscious is filled with the thought that I have impeccable health. My image before God is flawless." This priest experienced the amazing joy of a truly miraculous healing.

Brief things to remember

1. Our subconscious controls absolutely all life processes of the body and it knows the answers to any questions and problems.

2. Turn to your subconscious before going to bed with some specific request, and see for yourself its miraculous power.

3. Whatever you capture in your subconscious will be reflected directly on your spatial screen in the form of emotions, conditions and events. Therefore, you need to carefully monitor what thoughts and ideas occupy your consciousness.

4. The law of reaction and action is universal. Your thought is an action, and the reaction is a kind of automatic response to the thought of your subconscious. It is important to monitor the nature of your thoughts!

5. All experiences arise from unfulfilled desires. If you “get hung up” on problems and various difficulties, then the reaction of your subconscious will be appropriate - this is how you yourself block the path to your well-being.

6. The Principle of Life will always flow rhythmically and harmoniously through you. Consciously confirm the following statement: “I believe that the subconscious force that gave me this desire is now embodying it in me,” and this will resolve any of your troubles.

7. With worries, worries and fears, you can, of course, disrupt the natural rhythm of breathing, heartbeat and the functioning of other organs. Direct your thoughts about harmony, peace, health into your subconscious and all body functions will return to normal.

8. Fill your subconscious with the expectation of better events and emotions, and it will faithfully embody all your thoughts.

9. Imagine a happy solution or ending to your problem, fully feel the delight of what has happened, and all your fantasies and sensations will be clearly accepted and then embodied by the subconscious.
